How it works
KPI dashboards are built from the engagement's data — the Database KPIs computed from connected databases and KPIs structured by the engagement's KPI tree. Because the underlying database KPIs carry their queries, the numbers on a dashboard are verifiable.
Step by step
- Build KPIs from connected data (see Database connections and Plan → Database KPIs).
- Generate a dashboard in Analysis.
- Surface it as a deliverable in Deliver → Dashboards.
Best practices
- Connect a database first. Live, query-backed KPIs make the strongest dashboards.
- Verify the numbers. Each database KPI carries its query — confirm before presenting.
