Glossary
The vocabulary of Celeredge, A–Z. For the conceptual picture, start with Core Concepts.
Account
A client company. Sits between a prospect and its engagements. See Accounts.
Assessment
A run of a framework against an engagement's evidence, producing grounded, cited answers and gaps. See Assessments Overview.
Assessment Area
A subsection of a dimension grouping related questions within a framework.
Autopilot / AI baseline
AI-generated baseline analysis of an engagement, gated by a pre-flight readiness check. See Autopilot Baseline.
Citation
A link from an AI-generated claim back to the evidence it came from, with a source type, score, and excerpt. See Citations & Trust.
Command Center
The firm's home screen: active engagements, open signals, and AI-curated priorities. See Command Center.
Confidence
A signal of how well-grounded an answer is, shown as a pill (Not grounded / Low / Medium / High). A zero-evidence answer is always Not grounded. See Citations & Trust.
Deck Studio
The presentation builder: a brief → storyboard → visuals pipeline. See Deck Studio.
Deliverable
A finished client artifact (report, deck, dashboard) that registers on the engagement and rolls up into the Knowledge Vault.
Diagnose / Plan / Execute / Deliver
The four phases of the engagement lifecycle. See Engagement OS.
Dimension
A top-level area of a framework, containing assessment areas.
Engagement
A specific, scoped piece of client work belonging to an account; the primary scope for evidence, assessments, gaps, workstreams, and deliverables. See Engagements.
Engagement Lead
The member who owns an engagement end to end. Set on the engagement team.
Evidence
Real source material the AI grounds outputs in — document chunks, database results, signals, insights. See Data & Evidence.
Evidence Vault
The engagement's record of every data point used, each linked back to its source. See Evidence Vault.
Execution profile
The per-question evaluation logic an assessment runs — the AI-generated prompts and retrieval queries produced when a framework is compiled. See Framework Authoring.
Framework
A structured assessment inside a practice — a tree of dimensions → assessment areas → questions. Provided by Celeredge's shared library, or authored by your firm on the Enterprise plan. See Frameworks.
Framework authoring
Building and publishing your own frameworks (an Enterprise capability), including an AI Compile step that generates the execution profile. See Framework Authoring.
Gap
The difference between current and target state surfaced by an assessment; flows into workstreams in Plan. See Gap Analysis.
Grounding
Generating AI outputs from retrieved real evidence rather than from nothing, so claims can be cited and verified. See Citations & Trust.
Insight
A curated, rated finding from notebook or causal analysis that feeds Execute.
Knowledge Vault
The firm-wide library of reusable deliverables across engagements. See Knowledge Vault.
KPI Tree
The engagement's KPI structure, seeded from its industry ontology. See Ontology & KPI Tree.
Lineage
The thread linking an assessment → gaps → workstreams → deliverables, so every output traces to its origin. See Engagement OS Overview.
Ontology
A structured model of a client's industry (capabilities → processes → KPIs) mapped to an engagement. See Ontology & KPI Tree.
Organization (Org)
Your firm's Celeredge tenant.
Practice
A methodology area your firm offers (Operations, Cybersecurity, etc.) containing frameworks. See Practices.
Practice Lead
A member who owns a practice. See Practice Leads.
Prospect
A potential client in the pipeline, before becoming an account. See Prospects.
Question
The smallest unit of a framework, assessed against evidence with an answer type.
Signal
An AI-detected observation with a verbatim evidence quote, a source link, and an assignable action. See Signals.
Workstream
A committed piece of delivery work created from an accepted gap, carrying lineage back to its source. See Execute.
