Reports
Reports turn an engagement's findings into client-ready narrative documents. They're produced in the Deliver phase (and from Analysis), and like everything in Celeredge they're grounded in the engagement's evidence.

Types of report
| Type | What it is |
|---|---|
| Narrative report | A prose PDF report telling the engagement's story and findings |
| Framework-specific report | An HTML report shaped to a particular framework (e.g. a NIST CSF report) |
Reports carry the citations behind their claims, so what you hand the client is traceable to source. See Citations & Trust. Notably, citation information is rendered so it survives export — a printed/PDF report carries the same source attribution as the screen.
Step by step
- Open Deliver → Reports (or generate from Analysis → Ask the data).
- Generate the report type you need.
- Review the content and its cited sources.
- The completed report registers as a deliverable and flows to the Knowledge Vault.
Best practices
- Generate after accepting findings. Reports are strongest when built on accepted, cited answers.
- Check the sources appendix. Confirm key claims trace to real evidence before sending.
- Reuse from the vault. Start from a strong prior report in the same practice or industry.
Common errors
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Thin content | Sparse evidence or unaccepted answers | Strengthen evidence and accept answers in Diagnose, regenerate |
