The Notebook is an analytical workspace of cells over the engagement's data. It's where you build up analysis — including charts — and turn the results into insights that feed Execute. It lives in the engagement's Analysis workspace.

How it works
You work in cells, each running a piece of analysis over the engagement's data. Notebook outputs — including charts — can carry citations back to their sources, and the meaningful results are promoted into insights that appear in Execute and can flow into deliverables.
Step by step
- Open Analysis → Notebook in the engagement.
- Add analytical cells over the engagement's data.
- Review outputs and their citations.
- Promote insights to carry findings into Execute.
Best practices
- Keep cells focused. One question per cell makes results easier to cite and reuse.
- Promote as you go. Capture insights when you find them so they're ready for Deliver.
- Check citations on charts. A cited chart is a defensible chart.
